Brian Wahlstrom performing live at the piano
San Diego & Southern California

Corporate Event Pianist & Vocalist

Live music that can sit elegantly behind conversation, become the center of the room, or carry the evening into a full party.

One performer, several gears

Built Around the Room

Corporate events rarely need one fixed energy level. A client reception may begin with piano in the background, move into vocals after dinner, and finish with familiar songs that pull the room together.

Brian performs as a solo pianist and vocalist, and the lineup can expand to a duo, trio, dueling pianos show or DJ service. The format is planned around the schedule, venue, audience and role the music needs to play.

Where it fits

Corporate Event Formats

01

Receptions & Client Dinners

Piano and vocals at a conversational level for arrivals, networking, cocktails and dinner. The repertoire and volume can shift as the room changes.

02

Galas, Awards & Holiday Events

Featured performance, live requests, sing-alongs, announcements and DJ service can be combined into one coordinated entertainment plan.

03

Dueling Pianos

A request-driven show for company celebrations, fundraisers and larger social events. Two pianists trade songs and build the performance around the audience.

Common questions

Corporate Event FAQ

Can the music stay in the background?

Yes. Piano and vocals can be kept at a conversational level for networking, cocktails and dinner, then become more prominent only when the schedule calls for it.

Can the event move from live music to DJ sets?

Yes. Live piano and vocals can cover arrivals or dinner before transitioning into DJ music for dancing, eliminating a separate handoff between entertainment vendors.

Do you bring the piano and sound system?

Yes. A weighted digital piano, elegant piano shell, PA, wireless microphones and lighting are available. Venue-provided production can also be used when appropriate.

How far in advance should we inquire?

As soon as the date and city are known. A complete timeline is not required for the first inquiry; the format can be refined as planning develops.
